Workflow
The quality-control process

Receipt
Material received and logged against its supplier reference.

Identification
A batch identifier is assigned or recorded for the received material.

Documentation review
Supplier and analytical documentation is reviewed and stored.

Testing (where performed)
Where analytical testing is carried out, the resulting document is attached to the batch.

Storage
Material is held under the storage conditions documented for that product.
- 06
Release
The batch becomes available for supply through the catalogue.
